Initial Consulation and Evaluation:

     The initial consultation is at no charge to you. It is a 15-20 minute phone conversation to discuss your legal needs. If we decide to meet in person, we will schedule a formal consulation, which takes roughly an hour, and may be completed at my office or at your location to discuss your needs in further detail.  (I welcome the opportunity to travel to you to learn first hand about your operations.)

    After the formal consultation, I will provide an evaluation of your situation which includes the applicable New Hampshire Law, available options and my recommendations. For businesses, this includes a complete review of your forms, contracts and waivers. Also included will be a detailed assessment of your risk exposure. With this information, you may decide to retain my services to assist you, you may decide to update your documents yourself, or you may decide you are happy with the status quo.  If you decide to help yourself, this website has wealth of information on state laws and pending cases nationwide, it is a great resource for anyone.


Common Forms:

     Our forms are drafted and constantly updated by Attorney Morris.  When you purchase a form, you will receive updates at no additional cost. These forms will be customized for you and your business. Forms cost $50.00 each, discounts apply for three or more forms ($40.00 each). Each Form may be customized to your business as often as desired (for more than one animal, type of activity, etc).  (Several of the these forms are specific to animal businesses such as breeding rights.)

Packages and Project Billing:

    Cases and consultations may be taken on an hourly basis, project basis (lump sum to handle a specific project from beginning to end), package basis or contingent basis. We will work closely with you to determine which billing method would be most beneficial for you based upon your needs. Standard packages are offered below, but customized packages can be devised on a case by case basis.    

    All standard packages include an assessment of your current contracts and risk exposure, a review of your business plan, and an annual on site consultation, if applicable.  Each package includes a specific number of forms,which will be customized for you and your business. Updates to these forms are free for two years and will be provided upon any changes  in the law or in your business (such as adding more assets or animals, employees, expansion of your business, etc) - at any time during the year. In addition, package hours do not expire, therefore you may use these hours over a two month period or two year period.  Packages also include minimal miscellaneous office costs such as telephone call charges, copying, regular mailing, etc. However it does not include registration or filing fees, or any fees to be paid to third parties. Note: packages do not include litigation matters unless agreed to in writing otherwise.

    
Gold Package:   This package is limited to 20 clients. It includes 30 hours of billable time, all the above mentioned customized forms, and no charge for the first and second annual consultation, assessment and evaluation. Additional hours are billed at a reduced rate. If desired, a free subscripton to our Email Alert Newsletter is also included.


Silver Package:   This package includes 20 hours of billable time and your choice of 15 forms, customized for you and your needs. The first annual consultation, assessment and evaluation is at no charge. Additional hours are billed at a reduced rate. A free subscripton to our Email Alert Newsletter is also included.


Bronze Package:   This package includes 10 hours of billable time and your choice of 10 forms, customized for you and your needs. Your formal consultation, assessment and evaluation costs $100.00.  Additional hours are billed at a reduced rate.  A free subscripton to our Email Alert Newsletter is also included.

Upon your decision to retain The Law Offices of Patricia Morris, PLLC, a detailed, specific  agreement will be drafted and must be signed by both parties (lawyer and client). Payment for forms is 50% due upon order, 50% due upon client's receipt of the customized form(s).
